Linda G. Blackburn is an experienced commercial litigation attorney who has represented commercial clients through litigating their contractual issues regarding such matters as employment and non-compete agreements, construction contracts, property insurance, obligations under commercial lease agreements, foreclosure matters, shareholder and operating agreements, and warranty enforcement, to name a few. Currently, Mrs. Blackburn focuses primarily on representing property insurance companies in defense of their first party property claim disputes. Having worked in Florida law firms since 1997 as a legal assistant, law clerk and attorney, Mrs. Blackburn has gained a wealth of knowledge about the various practice areas associated with commercial, contractual, business disputes and property insurance whether her client is a plaintiff or defendant.
Prior to moving to Ocala in 2002, Mrs. Blackburn earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. After moving to Ocala, Mrs. Blackburn obtained her Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida in 2005. In addition to being admitted to practice law in Florida’s state courts, Mrs. Blackburn is also admitted in the Southern, Middle and Northern Federal District Courts of Florida.
